ProofPilot Agency publishes performance figures in case studies, on service pages, in proposals, and in reports. We hold ourselves to a rule that most agencies do not: only attributed, verified figures get published. This page explains how to read them.
Where the numbers come from
Client performance figures are pulled from TrackPilot, our own attribution platform, which ties a lead to an estimate, to a booked job, to a dollar. Search and ranking figures come from third-party data providers and from the client’s own Google Search Console and Google Business Profile. Ad spend and campaign figures come from the ad platforms directly.
Nothing is estimated to make a chart look better. Where a number is a total across a period, a record month, or a single campaign, we label it as such rather than presenting it as a run rate.
What the numbers do not mean
- They are not typical. Case studies are selected because the results are notable. A published outcome is not an average outcome and should not be read as one.
- They are not a projection for you. Your results depend on your market, your competition, your pricing, your close rate, your speed to lead, your capacity to do the work, your budget, and how long you stay the course. Two businesses running the same plan in different cities get different outcomes.
- They are not a guarantee. Nothing on this website is a promise of specific revenue, lead volume, ranking position, return on ad spend, or any other result. Any guarantee that applies to you exists only if it is written into your signed agreement.
- Attributed revenue is not profit. Figures such as tracked revenue, pipeline, and return on ad spend are gross. They do not deduct your cost of goods, labor, overhead, or taxes. Pipeline in particular means estimated or quoted work, which is not the same as collected cash.
How to read specific terms
| Term | What we mean by it |
|---|---|
| Attributed revenue | Revenue from jobs traced back to a lead from a channel we run, recorded in the client’s own job or CRM system. |
| Pipeline | The value of estimates and quoted work generated. Some of it closes, some of it does not. It is not collected revenue. |
| ROAS or return | Attributed revenue divided by the spend on that channel for the same period. It excludes management fees unless we say otherwise. |
| Record month | The single best month in the period, called out because it is an outlier, not because it repeats. |
| AI search visibility | That a client was named or cited in an AI assistant’s answer for a given prompt at a given time. AI answers are not deterministic and change without notice. |
Forecasts, calculators, and projections
Our free tools, including the ROI calculator, revenue calculator, budget planner, and SEO projection, produce modeled estimates from the inputs you provide and from industry assumptions. Where we model outcomes in a proposal we present conservative, realistic, and aggressive ranges rather than a single number, precisely because a single number would be false precision. None of it is a forecast you should bank on, and none of it is financial, legal, or tax advice. Their general terms of use are in the Terms of Service.
Client names and consent
Clients named in our case studies appear with their permission, and their marks belong to them. We confirm consent before publishing any page that pairs a real client name with financial figures. If you are a client and want a figure amended or your case study taken down, email [email protected] and we will action it.
Third-party marks and platforms
Google, Meta, ChatGPT, and other platform names are trademarks of their owners. ProofPilot is an independent agency. We are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or acting on behalf of any of those platforms, and platform algorithms, policies, and ad products change constantly and outside our control.
Editorial content
Articles in our education center are general information about marketing, published as of their date. Search behavior moves fast and an article can age. Read it as a starting point, not as advice tailored to your business.
