These terms govern the ProofPilot Agency text message program. They apply when you give us a mobile number and consent to be contacted by text, whether through a form on this website, in writing, or verbally during a call.
The disclosures, up front
- Program. ProofPilot Agency sends conversational and informational messages about the marketing services you enquired about or engaged us for.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation with us. Expect roughly 2 to 6 messages per month for an active enquiry or engagement.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for messages. Your mobile carrier might.
- Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop all further texts. You will get one confirmation message and then nothing more.
- Help. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent
You opt in by checking the messaging consent box on one of our forms, by replying to one of our messages, or by telling us during a call that we can text you. We keep a record of when and how consent was given.
Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing anything from us. You can hire ProofPilot and never receive a single text. You may also give consent for service messages about work already underway while declining marketing messages.
You confirm that the number you give us is yours, that you are the account holder or have the account holder’s permission, and that you are at least 18. Tell us if the number changes or is reassigned, so we do not message someone who never agreed to it.
What we send
- Replies to an enquiry you started, including scheduling a call and following up on an audit or proposal.
- Service messages for active clients, for example a report is ready, a page is live, or an approval is needed.
- Occasional messages about services relevant to your business, only where you consented to marketing messages.
We do not send messages in categories carriers prohibit. That includes loans and lending offers, debt collection or credit repair, gambling, cannabis, firearms, and adult content.
Stopping and restarting
Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message to opt out. Opting out of one program opts you out of all ProofPilot marketing texts. We will send a single confirmation and then stop. If you opt out and later want messages again, reply START or ask us and we will re-add you with a new consent record. Opting out of texts does not remove you from email or end a service engagement.
Privacy and your number
Mobile opt-in consent and the phone numbers collected for it are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with the messaging providers that transmit our messages, acting on our instructions. Everything else about how we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy.
Delivery and support
We cannot guarantee that every message arrives. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and your coverage. Supported carriers can change without notice and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If something is not working, email [email protected] and we will sort it out.
Client messaging programs are separate
ProofPilot builds and operates text messaging automations for client businesses. When you receive a message from one of those businesses, that business runs the program, holds your consent, and publishes its own SMS terms. These terms cover messages sent by ProofPilot Agency about ProofPilot only.
Changes
We may update these terms. The revision date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Continuing to participate after a change means you accept the updated terms.
